Louie A. "Dozer Man" Raines, 77, of Springtown, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008 in a Fort Worth hospital.Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2008 in the Boonsville Cemetery, Boonsville. The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home in Springtown. Louie Aston Raines Jr. was born October 21, 1930 in Sunset, Texas, son of the late Louie A. and Ella Raines. A long time resident of Parker and Wise counties, Louie was a cattleman, fisherman and well respected friend to all. Louie never met a stranger and for many years was owner of the Kountry Diner in Poolville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.Louie is survived by his son, Louie A. Raines and wife, Mary of Callisburg; daughter, Darenda Derlick and husband, Steve of Bridgeport; and three grandchildren. Also surviving is his special friend, Marjorie Bowen and family: Mike and Kathy Williams of Poolville, Jackie and Timmy Tamplen of Springtown, Mike Jr. of Poolville, Dave and Chasity Taylor and Miranda and Colton Morgan all of Fort Worth, Brooke and Justin Tamplen of Springtown; as well as a host of loving friends and many acquaintances.
