Hassie was born September 26, 1915, at home, in Springtown, Texas. She served her country as a WAC in World War II and then spent many years of her life working as a nursing assistant. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Daisy Williams; a daughter, Betty, and a son who died at birth. She was also preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Harmon, and a sister, Carmen Fowler.Survivors include sons, Tommy Harmon and life partner, Dan, of Atlanta, GA, and Terry Harmon, SR. and wife, Diane of Cleburne; sisters, Beatrice and husband, Ray Stapp of Arlington, and Cordie and husband, Joe Walker of Burleson; grandchildren, Terry Harmon, Jr. of Florida and Eric Harmon of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
