Ft. Worth - - Billy "Bill" Stewart, 64, a true outdoorsman, dedicated family man and stranger to no one, died Saturday, August 16, 2003 in Ft. Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug, 21, at White's Springtown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home Billy "Bill" Stewart was born February 7, 1939 in Ft. Worth to William and Faye Matthews Stewart. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America, himself an Eagle Scout, and was a past Scout Master of Troop 425 in Ft. Worth, receiving his 25 year Service Award in 1985. He was an avid fisherman. He worked for many years at Generl Dynamics, formerly owned and operated Stewart's Trophy & Lettering in Ft. Worth and retired from the White Settlement ISD. Survivors: Wife, Susie Stewart of Ft. Worth; son, Shawn Stewart and wife, Stacey of Arlington; brother, Frank L. Stewart and wife, Gail of Bedford; uncle and aunt, Frank and Betty Matthews of Duncan, Okla., a host of cousins, friends, nieces and nephews; and his loving companions, Holly, Midnight and Muffie.
