Elmer Elwood Wheeler

Elmer Eugene Wheeler, 76, passed away Friday, September 5, 2003 at his home.Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 5-9:00 p.m. Monday evening at White's Funeral Home. Elmer Wheeler was born July 28, 1927 in Quinlan to William and Laura Crane Wheeler. He retired from the City of Fort Worth Water Dept. Elmer was preceded in death by Thomas Lee Wheeler and Michael Eugene Wheeler. Survivors: wife, Georgia Wheeler; children, Patsy Smith of Arlington, Billy Wheeler of Visalia, CA, Lois Wheeler of Ft. Worth, Eugene Wheeler of Fort Worth, Mary Ramirez of Fort Worth, Sue Nelson of Samson Park, Johnny Leatherwood of Poolville, Kathy Burdett of Weatherford, Bea Burgess of Samson Park, Betty Todd of Fort Worth, Lynn White of Poolville, Elizabeth Gore of Boyd, Dorothy Kerry of Boyd, and Charlie Wheeler of Fort Worth; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers, Fred Wheeler of Louisiana, Leon "Bunch" Wheeler of Wills Point; sisters, Lois Anderson of Grand Saline, Virginia "Dink" Brand of Grand Saline, and Edna "Rennie" Dunbar of Canton.
