Clara May "Pom Pom" Ledbetter, 87, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Wednesday, September 10, 2003 in Weatherford.Funeral: 10:30 am Saturday, Sept. 13, at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: 3 pm at Scranton Cemetery, Scranton, Texas. Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday at Whiteâ??s Funeral Home. Clara Ledbetter was born to Sinclair and Mona Brummett in Scranton, Texas. She was a devoted Mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. "Pom Pom" lovingly created quilts and paintings for those she loved. Clara was a past member of Azle Avenue Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, and a current member of First Baptist Church of Springtown. "Pom Pom" was loved much and will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph Ledbetter in 1964 and Bill Ledbetter in 1980; parents, Mona and Sinclair Brummett; brother, Benny Brummett; sister, Hazel Ledbetter; and son-in-law, Leon Mathis. Survivors: Daughters, Annette Mathis of Springtown, Carolyn Wooten and husband, Don of Springtown, Gladys Ann Hamilton of San Angelo; sisters-in-law, Pauline Brummett and Ruth Snoddy; ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
