AZLE -- Ralph John Wolf, 74, a Navy veteran and retired construction superintendent, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Azle. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 7 p.m. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Memorials: Holy Trinity Catholic Church Building Fund, in lieu of flowers. Mr. Wolf was born Jan. 10, 1929, in Wichita Falls. He served aboard the USS Chilton in Operation Crossroads during World War II. He was a proud patriotic American and a member of VFW Post 2137. Ralph was also a charter member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Azle. Mr. Wolf was preceded in death by his wife, Nell, in November 1996 and son, Ronald. Survivors: Sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Marla Wolf of Willow Park, David and Lynnette Wolf of Clifton, Terry and Jole Wolf of Holliday; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Steve Landsfeld; and eight grandchildren.
