Utah Gideon, 65, died Thursday, October 2, 2003 in Mesquite.Utah Gideon was born July 14, 1938 in Cooper, Texas to Dolphus Nelson and Katie Borden Gideon.He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tawana Gideon of Dallas; daughter, Tawana Kay Bolan of Garland; grandson, Brett Daniel Bolan; sisters, Naomi Little of Grand Prairie, Lois Tyler of Arlington, Violet Aaron of Arlington; brother, D.N. Gideon, Jr., of Haughton, LA.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
