Thurman Ferrell Loftin

Truman Loftin, 81, died Sunday, Oct. 5, in Springtown.Funeral: 3:00 pm, Thursday, Oct. 9, at White's Chapel. Burial: Cumby Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday at White's Funeral Home. Truman Loftin was born July 21, 1922 to John and Irma Lingle Loftin in Texline. He served in the Army and was a WW II veteran. Truman was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John R. Loftin, II.Survivors: Daughter, Wanda Porter; grandchildren, Nichola Nelson and David Porter, Jr., great-grandchildren, Charlcie McGaha and Savanna Porter; sister, Shirley Swan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
