James Wyatt Davis

James Wyatt "Jim" Davis, 88, passed away Friday, November 14, 2003 in Fort Worth.Funeral: 10 A.M., Tuesday at South Main Church of Christ. Burial: East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 P.M., Monday at White's Funeral Home Weatherford. Mr. Davis was born August 7, 1915 to James Walter Davis and Florrie Medwin Brunson Davis in Chillicothe. He graduated from Chillicothe High School. Mr. Davis married Mary Belle Hill May 14, 1938. He moved from Vernon to Weatherford in 1950. Mr. Davis retired from General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) in 1987. He was a member of South Main Churcn of Christ. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife Mary Davis on June 24, 2000; and sisters, Ora and Hazel Davis. Survivors: Sons, Mike Davis and wife, Judy of Irving, Mark Davis and wife, Jo-Alice of Weatherford, Rick Davis and wife, Sharon of Longview; grandchildren, Brian and Phillip Davis of Irving, Kelly Davis of Germany, Amber and Sarah Davis of Longview; great-grandson, Sloan Davis of Irving; sister, Marilyn Wilson of Vernon; and brother, Edwin Davis of Calgary.
