William E. Davis

AZLE -- William E. "Bill" Davis, 49, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, left to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 22, 2003. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Azle. Burial: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Davis was born Jan. 6, 1954 in Fort Worth. As a 1972 graduate of Azle High School, he was a lifelong resident. He attended Weatherford College where he met the love of his life, Linda, wife of 29 years. His grandchildren were the light of his life and he spent every possible moment with them. For his family he provided, his friends he supported, created ties with life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Bill was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife, Linda Davis of Azle; son, Bryan Davis and wife Tonya of Azle; daughter, Kimberely Maple and husband, Greg of Springtown; grandchildren, Leah Renee, Ethan Gregory, Jordan William; and many friends and loved ones.
