Pauline Davis

Pauline Davis of Weatherford passed away at her residence Wednesday, November 26, 2003.Mrs. Davis was the wife of the late Jack J. Davis of this town. She and Mr. Davis were married in the First Baptist Church in May of 1934. Mrs. Davis and her husband owned and operated the Jack Davis Sporting and Dry Goods Store for a number of years before Mr. Davis' death. Afterwards she was employed by the Weatherford County Clerk's Office as a secretary. After this employment, she entered the services of what is now Bergman, Grogan and Rothrock Insurance, where she served as a secretary until her retirement. Mrs. Davis was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Weatherford.Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by Mr. Davis in 1966. Also preceding her was her mother, Effie Smith McKinnon; father, J. Ira McKinnon; a sister, Louise McKinnon McEntire, wife of the late Frank Lee McEntire, all of Weatherford.Mrs. Davis is survived by several cousins and close friends.
