Jeffrey Lynn Miller

Jeffrey Lynn Miller passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at his home near Cottondale. Jeff was born on March 5, 1961 in Weatherford, Texas, the second son of William R. and Florence E. Miller. Jeff attended schools in Weatherford and later in Azle when the family operated Barnes Lakeside Resort on Eagle Mountain Lake. Jeff and Sheril Mills were married on June 4, 1982 at Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle, and resided at the resort and later near Azle. Both Jeff and Sheril were Journeyman electricians who traveled extensively, working at construction sites throughout the United States. Jeff was proud to be an American and a member of the I.B.E.W. local #116 and later #20. Jeff is survived by his wife, Sheril, his step son Richard Rasberry, his parents, his sister Kathleen J. (Bruce) Lowry, his brother, W. James (Lisa) Miller, his sister, Amanda N. (Greg) Burkhalter, and his brother-in-law, John R. Mills, Jr. He was the beloved uncle of nephews: Dylan Lowry and Ricky Mills; nieces: Ilia Lowry and Paula Mills; great nephews: Caleb and Jakob Lowry; and great niece: Sara Lowry. He is also survived by his maternal Grandmother, Hettie M. Skinner. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations and tributes be made online at www.lungcanceronline.org.
