Bobby Clarence Benton, 62, of Mineral Wells, a beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, died Wednesday, December 10, 2003.Bobby Clarence Benton was born July 28, 1941 in Aledo, Texas. Bobby worked at Bell Helicopter for 32 years at the plant in Arlington. He was a member of the Ballew Springs Baptist Church in Weatherford and has lived in the community for 21 years. Bobby and wife, Jeanette were married 43 years. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, sister, mother-in-law, one niece and three nephews.Survivors include wife, Jeanette Benton of Weatherford; daughters, Cloresse "CJ" Benton, Candace L. Nichols, Robbie Ordonez; son, Robert Keith Benton, Sr.; grandsons, Robert Keith Benton, Jr., Jerry Alton Benton, and B.J. McLeod; granddaughters, Brandy Dean Benton Hood, Brandy Barton; great granddaughter, Kennedy Barton; mother, Bessie Schedule; sisters, Betty Ball, Henrietta "Jeanie" Williams; brothers, Danny Ray Benton, Charles Patrick Benton; step grandchildren, Elsie Brown and Eric Castunela; multiple inlaws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
