Ricky Ray Dale

Ricky Ray Dale, 51, an Eckerd manager, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at a Weatherford hospital.Ricky Ray Dale was born March 16, 1952 in Weatherford to Roland and Bertha Nelson Dale. He was a lifelong resident of Weatherford. Ricky had a great love for children and animals. He completed 27 years of service with Eckerd. Ricky was a most loving brother, son, uncle, great uncle and god-father. He was preceded in death by his parents and great niece, Michelle Jacobs.Survivors include sisters, Donna Grimes, Brenda Wood, Glenda Roberson and husband, Charles, all of Weatherford, and Mae Walden of Southlake; brother, Tommy Dale of Weatherford; special niece, Kim Terrell; nieces and nephews, Paula, Judy, Richard, Connie, Terry, Dawn; 8 great nieces and nephews; two god-daughters, Jaclyn and Jadie; special pets, Miss Peepers, Shotzi, and Roxie; and a multitude of friends and acquaintances.Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Monday, January 12, 2004 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2004 at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Weatherford Animal Shelter, 409 Hickory Lane, Weatherford, TX 76086 or the Fort Worth Humane Society.
