Terry Eugene Fortson

Terry Eugene Fortson, 44, a tool designer, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 in Azle.Rosary: 3 p.m.; Memorial Mass following at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Mr. Fortson was born May 8, 1959 in Big Spring, to Ray and Marilyn Carpenter Fortson. He graduated from Big Spring High School. He coached his kids in baseball, soccer and football. He was active in Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Fortson enjoyed rattlesnake hunting with his dad, fishing and shooting pool with his best friend, and was active with the men's club at his church. Terry was a loving husband, father, son and friend. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Joe and Lois Carpenter and Mr. & Mrs. A. L. Fortson.Survivors: Wife, Elsa Aguilar Fortson; children, Kenny and Leslie; parents, Ray and Marilyn Fortson; sister, Kerry Susan McKinley; many aunts; uncles; and cousins.
