Ruth Thoma

Ruth Thoma, 88, a homemaker, died Monday, February 23, 2004 at a Weatherford nursing facility. Ruth Thoma was born June 21, 1915 in Holt, NM to Esear and Hopie Tosh Newbill. She moved to California as a child. Ruth married James O. Thoma in 1946 and together they moved to Weatherford. She was a member of the Couts Memorial United Methodist Church and was active in the Weatherford Senior Service Center. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband in 1999. Ruth is survived by her sons, Bill Thoma and wife, Marie of Garland, and James O. Thoma and wife, Kris of Austin; grandchildren, Joe Thoma and wife, Mary of Siloam Springs, Ark., Melissa Brown and husband, Andy of Bella Vista, Ark., and Austin Thoma of Austin; great granddaughters, Olivia Thoma and Isabel Thoma both of Siloam Springs, Ark.Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford. The family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford
