Louise bell Crandall, 84, an Electronic Planner, died Friday, March 5, 2004 in Weatherford. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday , March 9, 2004 at White's Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Cemetery in Kennedale. Visitation: Monday, 7 to 9 P.M. at White's Funeral Home. Louise was born May 19, 1919 to William and Ethel Golightly Brown in Floydada. She was a longtime resident of North Texas, an avid ballroom dancer winning many awards. Louise loved sports particularly baseball and would play baseball with her grandchildren. She only had a 9th grade education when she married at age 14, but was an honor student at that time. She took night courses during WWII and during her employment for General Dynamics. Her position would later require a college degree. Louise was a pioneer in that field and made the way for women to be accepted. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, her parents and one great grandchild, Samantha Bell.
