Thelma Josephine "Jo" Faye Dobbs

Thelma Josephine "Jo" Dobbs, 88, known affectionately to many as "Granny" went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2004.Jo was born in Meridian, Texas to John Wilson and Martha Mae Allen Josey on April 12, 1915. Jo was preceded in death by both parents, several brothers and sisters, and daughter, Thelma Gene Pierson Setser.Jo is survived by daughter, Sarah Ann Pierson Agnew of Springtown, Texas; son, John Andy Dobbs and wife, Colleen of Springtown; sisters, Johnny Murphy and husband, Carlton of Mineral Wells and Janice Faye "Tiny" Borgess and husband, Bill of Tracy, CA; six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Granny will be kept in the heart of family and friends who will always love and miss her.Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Interment services will be 2:30 p.m. in the Burkett Cemetery in Burkett, Texas.
