Harold Ray Elrod, 55, a loving husband, father, and friend passed away Thursday, April 1, 2004 in Decatur.Funeral: 10 a.m., Monday, April 5 at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church in Weatherford. Burial: Cottondale Cemetery. Visitation: 2-6 Sunday at White's Funeral Home in Springtown. Harold Elrod was born March 26, 1949 to Raymond and Janette Elrod, in Ft. Worth. Harold and Paulette were married August 29, 1987. He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors: Wife, Paulette Elrod; children, Mark Elrod, Carleen Dooley and husband, Larry, Lisa Hasty and husband, Joe, Marc Clawson and wife, Julie, and Paula Johns; nine grandchildren, Jason and Amber Leahy, Caitlin Dooley, Whitney and Justin Hasty, Ashley Alley, Skyler Clawson, Tristan Griffin and Celeste Johns; great-grandson, Bryson Leahy; four brothers; four sisters; dearest aunt, Doris and husband, Loyd Samuels; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He touched all our lives and we are better for it. His love is endless and we will never be the same without him.
