Phillip Henry Deam, 81, of Weatherford joined his beloved wife of 51 years and his youngest son in Heaven on Easter Sunday, April 11, 2004. Phil was born January 3, 1923 in Lancaster, Texas to Andrew Tyler Deam and Esther Hudson Deam. As he lived his life with Christ, so also did he end his life. Phil was on his way to Easter services at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, where he was one of the founding members, when he collapsed and was rushed to the local hospital. He passed away peacefully while comforted by his family and friends.During his thirty-five year career as an aeronautical engineer with General Dynamics, now Lockheed Martin, in Fort Worth, Phil made major contributions to projects from the B-36 to the Stealth. Phil was known by all for his sense of humor, patience, strength, wisdom, and kindness. He opened his heart and his home to all.Survivors include, Sharon Deam of Weatherford; Angi Jenkins of Watauga, Mr. and Mrs. Brad Deam of Burleson, Randall, Garrett and Kristen Jenkins of Watauga, Ashley Deam of Burleson, and Dora Townsend of Center Point, as well as many beloved life-long friends and relatives.
