Martin Wigington, 81, a retired sheet metal worker, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2004 in Azle at a local nursing home.Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday at East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas.Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.Martin, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother was born October 12, 1922 to Argo and Bessie Wigington in Weatherford. He married Lucille Salmon on October 16, 1943. Martin was a member of Southcliff Baptist Church.He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jake Wigington, sisters, Estelle Wigington, Georgia Miller, Dorothy Adley, and beloved daughter Peggy Bobbitt.Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Lucille; daughters, Linda Starkey; one sister, Wynola Aldridge and husband Basil, granddaughters, Shelley Pilcher, Christi Willis and husband David; grandson, Jeffrey Starkey and wife Shawnta; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
