Roy Allison, 92, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2004 in Azle.Funeral: 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Roy Allison was born October, 9, 1911, in Decatur, Texas to Tom and Bertha "Reed" Allison. He was a life-long resident of Springtown. Roy was an avid domino player, deer hunter, fisherman and gardener. His work experiences ranged from CCC Camps to the Bomber Plant and finally to dairy and farming. Roy was preceded in death by his wife, of 67 years, Vi; son, Ben Don; his parents; and a sister.Survivors: Sons, Charles Allison and wife, Mildred of Sulphur Springs, Rick Allison and wife, Cathy of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Jean Hodge and husband, Bruce of Arlington; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Larry Munn of Paradise.
