William Robert Dikes

William R. Dikes, 85, a retired dairy farmer, passed away Monday, May 3, 2004 in Azle.Funeral: 2 p.m., Thursday at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at White's Funeral Home. William Dikes was born in Springtown on March 10, 1919 to William Goodlow and Mabel May Nix Dikes. He owned and operated Dikes Jersey Dairy Farm from 1939-2001. Mr. Dikes was a member of First Baptist Church of Springtown. He was also a member of Eureka Masonic Lodge #371, where he served as Master and District Deputy Grand Master.Survivors: Wife of 54 years, Mattie Jean Dikes; sons, Bill Dikes of Springtown, Robert Glen Dikes of Oklahoma City, OK; and grandchildren, Lindsay Dikes, Cara Dikes and Curt Dikes.
