Charleen Jones Gill

Charleen Gill died Tuesday, May 11, 2004 in the local hospital.Charleen Gill was born August 18, 1922 in Bethany, Oklahoma. She moved to Parker County at the age of one and lived in Parker County the remainder of her life. Charleen had a life membership with Columbia Temple #4, Pythian Sisters and was a 42 year member of the Women's National Bowling Association. Charleen retired from the Texas Department of Transportation in 1987. She was a member of Couts Memorial United Methodist Church.Charleen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Blake Lynn Gill in 1992; a son, Michael Ray Gill in 1986; and a great grandson, Kenneth Wayland Biggs in 1965.She is survived by her daughters, Faye Lynn and her husband, Clifford Biggs; Sandra and her husband, Homer Garvin of Weatherford; her grandchildren, Ron Garvin of Weatherford, David Biggs and wife, Jennifer of Fort Worth, Duane Biggs and wife, Lori of Keller, Rhonda Richey and husband, Mike of Hillsboro, Shannon Gill of Boulder, CO; and her great grandchildren, Ashley Biggs, McKenna Biggs, Daniel and Kayle Richey.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2004 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford with burial in the Johnson Cemetery in Dennis. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2004 at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
