SPRINGTOWN -- Lera Mae Klein, 90, went home Friday, May 21, 2004 in Ft. Worth with her family at her side. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Monday, at White's Funeral Home. Lera Mae Klein was born to Thomas Crockett Boren and Amy Estella Wilson Boren on February 22, 1914 in Wise County. She was married to D.V. "Doc" Klein for 53 years and together they raised four children. Lera was a lifelong resident of the Springtown area and had resided at the Palm House in Ft. Worth for the last five years. She was a member of the Springtown Church of Christ. She loved her family and spending time with them. Lera also enjoyed quilting, being outdoors, gardening and sharing her crops with neighbors, friends and family. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. Her compassion, strength and faith were an inspiration to all those who knew her. Lera was preceeded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jimmy Klein; brothers, Clyde Boren, Wil Boren, Clarence Boren, Donald Boren; sisters, Myrtle Isbell, Cleo Kinsey, Lois Boren Freeman, and Stella Boren. Survivors: Brother, T.C. Boren and wife, Mary Boren of Haltom City; son, D.V. Klein of Springtown; daughter, Eva Lee Pyle and husband, Dwight of Springtown, Susie Stewart of Benbrook; grandchildren, Marty Pyle of Virginia Beach, VA, Angela Bollman of Springtown, Ned Pyle of Roanoke, Shawn Stewart of Arlington; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.White's Funeral Home Springtown, (817) 220-7111
