Anita Kay Bass, 69, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2004 in Fort Worth.Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at White's Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Anita Kay Bass was born November 23, 1934 to Andy Clinton Dunlap and Ruth Wright Dunlap in Estelline, Texas. She was raised on a farm, loved music and the outdoors. Anita Kay graduated from Morton High School and was a long-time resident of Muleshoe where she was involved in farming. She moved to Azle and worked as an office manager in the trucking industry. Anita Kay was very devoted to her family, and enjoyed being with her many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.In lieu of flowers the family request donations may be sen to Hospice House, 1111 Summit Ave, Ft. Worth, TX 76102.Survivors: Special Companion, Lee Jones of Azle; Daughters, Mitzi Miller and husband Dink of Floyd, NM, Sheryl Engelking and husband Dave of Lazbuddie, Treena Herington and husband Keith of San Marcos, Cara Palmer and husband Don of Tulsa OK; brother, Benny Dunlap and wife Anonie of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
