Dennis Ray Sessums, 56, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 3, 2004 in Dallas due to complications from heart surgery.Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 9 at Lake Worth Baptist Church. Burial: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the Ray Sessums Memorial Scholarship Fund, 18021 Fox Hollow Dr., Mansfield, TX 76063. Ray was born September 24, 1947 to Ray and Brucille McKnight Sessums in Ft. Worth. He was a life-long resident of North Texas. Ray was a member of the North American Limousin Assoc. and the Texas Limousin Assoc. He was the owner of Crooked Creek Cattle Company and General Manager of Arcon Building Services. Ray enjoyed antelope, quail, deer and duck hunting. He was a wonderful husband and father, and proud grandfather. Ray will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother.Survivors: Wife of 35 years, Wanda Sessums; sons, Chad Sessums and wife, Wendy and their daughter Megan "Doodlebug" of N. Richland Hills, Ryan Sessums of Mansfield, Bryn Sessums of Mansfield; daughter, Kara Sessums of Arlington; father, Ray Sessums of Azle; sister, Derese Cecil and husband, Kenny of Scurry; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. Ray, you will be missed more than you will ever know.
