John Mabren Lytle, 90, left Tuesday, July 6, 2004 to join family and friends who had previously gone to be with the Lord.John Mabren Lytle was born February 2, 1914 in Bradshaw, Texas. He was a member of the Knights of Pythians in Weatherford for over 50 years. John and wife, Audrey established, owned, and operated Remembrance Flower Shop in Weatherford for 30 years. John's hobbies were collecting crosses, traveling, and vegetable gardening. He was a wonderful storyteller whose stories were enjoyed by family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard T., Walter Jr., and Harold O. Lytle. John will be missed by all of his family and friends.Survivors include wife of 66 years, Audrey Inglehart Lytle; daughter, Mabren Lytle Montgomery of Cedar Hill; grandchildren, Dugan C. Taylor and wife, Michelle, Richard A. Taylor and wife, Kim, Matt Taylor, Shauna, Katie, Kelly Rice, and Mark Montgomery; great grandchildren, Clint, Keegan, Haley, and Sadie Taylor; sisters, Natalie Lemons of Lubbock, Dorothy Raglin of San Angelo, Laveta Singleton of Weatherford, Mildred Lee of Palo Pinto, and Linda Lytle of Weatherford; brother, Curtis R. Lytle of Weatherford.Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
