William "Bill" Coy Drennan, 67, a Sales Representative, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at a Hospital in Fort Worth.Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 16, at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Freeway, Ft Worth, TX 76107 or the Charity of your choice.Bill was born April 10, 1937 in Springtown to Olin and Florence Drennan. Bill graduated from Paschal High School and Texas Wesleyan College. He served four years in the U. S. Marine Corps. An outstanding athlete, Bill excelled as a baseball player in high school, college and the Marine Corps. He later shared this love of baseball as the coach of numerous youth baseball teams in Ft.Worth. Bill was a sales representative before starting his own business in 1989. He lived in Fort Worth until moving to Springtown in 1997. He enjoyed golf, state parks, sports, and gardening. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Eric Phillipson.Survivors: Wife, Sammye Drennan; son, Terry Lamar Drennan and wife, Paula; step-daughters, Judy Phillipson, Suzanne Phillipson; grandchildren, Chad and Michael Drennan, Kristen and Marianne Tarbox, Christopher Phillipson; Christina Lyons, Misty Mayfield; sisters, Darlene Morgan, Flodeen Mullins and husband, J.W., Yvonne Pewitt and husband, Jimmy; brother, Grady Varnell Drennan and wife, Lois; aunt, Monna Brown; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
