Ronald L. Price, 60, died Friday, October 29, 2004 after a vehicle accident. Ronald L. Price was born and educated in Fort Worth, participating in city-wide target shooting competitions while in high school, and teaching rifle safety at Philmont Boy Scout Camp during high school summers. He received the B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Tarleton State University as well as the banking certificate from the Stonier Banking Institute of Rutgers University. After a career in banking with the Federal Reserve and in Mesquite, Ron began teaching, first at Tarleton State University and then Weatherford College. He enjoyed the teaching profession and his students enormously. Ronald was a keen golfer, feeling both the joys and the frustrations of the game. His knowledge of golf courses was matched by an encyclopedic knowledge of university and high school team mascots. His appreciation of classical music was balanced by peerless accuracy in identifying music from the golden age of Rock and Roll. He was a man of strength and curiosity, interested in many subjects, at peace with life and strong in his faith in God. He was a loyal friend, a genial host, a caring son, brother, father and uncle, and a devoted husband.Survivors include his loving wife, Alice Cushman, his mother, Marguerite Price, his sister, Carol Edney, his brother and sister-in-law Robert G. and Susan Price, his nephews, James & Kevin Edney, Jordan Price, a niece, Paige Price, three children, Rona Lee, Todd, and Leslie Price, a granddaughter, Ashley Price, and a host of relatives and friends.Memorial Service are scheduled 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at First United Methodist Church, Weatherford.
