Raymond Jack Martin, 50, died Friday, December 3, 2004.Raymond was born in Leesville, LA on March 21, 1954 to Jack and Ema Jean McConathy Martin. Raymond graduated from Northeast Louisiana University Pharmacy School in 1976 and received his MBA from LeTourneau University in 1996. He was active in the ASHP and served on the Texas Board of Pharmacy Research and Development Committee. Raymond was an active member of First Baptist Church where he served God as a deacon, Sunday School teacher and choir member. Raymond's love for God and his awesome humor impacted every life he encountered. He was loved and will be missed by all.He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Martin and son, Christopher Brandon Martin.He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Geneva and loving daughter, Courtney Elise of Weatherford; mother, Ema Jean Martin; sister, Regina Kees, brother-in-law, Lester; nephew, Jason and niece, Hilary of Anacoco, LA; and numerous relatives and faithful friends.Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at the First Baptist Church, 221 W. Church Street, Weatherford. Casket-bearers for the service will be Harold Barrett, Melvin Fencl, Mike Finley, Rex Henry, Jason Kees, Lester Kees, Bob Statham, and Cody Todd. First Baptist Church deacons and Gideons of Weatherford will be the honorary pallbearers. Interment services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004 in the Mitchell Cemetery, Anacoco, LA. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2004 at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford. Memorials donations may be made to the local Gideons International, P.O. Box 122, Weatherford, 76086.
