Betty Ann Rogers ,69, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2004 in North Richland Hills. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Azle. Burial will be in Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation is set for Monday 6 to 8 at White's Azle Funeral Home. Betty Ann Yates Rogers was born August 21, 1935 in Azle, Texas to Earl and Elizabeth Britain Yates. She was an artist most of her life, having taught many over the last twenty- five years. She was an excellent seamstress and cook. Betty started the "Silverbells" ladies group that quilted blankets to give to the gospel mission. Betty believed that she was never too old to learn something new- she learned to use the computer. She emailed her friends and loved ones and loved to play bridge and bingo on the internet. Betty loved her family and enjoyed having everyone over to eat and visit.Betty was preceded in death by her parents, son, Bryan Rogers and sister, Mary Bell Darrough. Survivors: Husband, Robert Dale Rogers Sr., of North Richland Hills; sons, Robert Dale Rogers Jr. and wife, Pat of Southlake, William C. Rogers and wife, Lianne of Azle, Britain E. Rogers and wife, Liz of Hurst; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
