Herbert George Aggas, Sr., a long time resident of Weatherford, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at Baylor All-Saints Hospital at the age of 85.Herbert was born on August 18, 1919 in Manitoba Canada. On February 5, 1941, he and Rosemary VanHove were married in Roseville, MI. His interests include oil painting, genealogy, playing on his computer, carpentry, and caring for his seven acres of land.He was preceded in death by his infant son, James Leroy Aggas; parents, Herbert and Lillian Aggas; sisters, Dorothy, Ella, and Jean; and brothers, Arnold, Roy and Ross (twins), and Herbert Walter.He is survived by his wife, Rosemary of Weatherford; son and daughter-in-law, Herbert Jr. and Carol of Weatherford; daughter, Patricia Moore of Michigan; brothers, Bill of California and Ed of Oregon; sister, Joy of California; six grandchildren, George, Cindy, Jim, Cheryl, Kris, and Karen; and eleven great grandchildren, Kyle, Katie, Krystal, Hope, Dalton, Karlie, Selina, Kammie, Kory, Alyssa, and Alivia.Visitation will be held at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford on Thursday, January 6, 2005 from 6 PM until 9 PM. Funeral services will also be held at White's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 7, 2005 at 8:15 AM, followed by Military Interment at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 11 AM located in Grand Prairie, Texas. Services will be officiated by Pastor Tom Jones of San Antonio.
