Reta Dale Jarvis, 89, departed this world surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at a local hospital. Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 11 at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Thursday at White's Funeral Home . Reta Dale Jarvis was born to Orville and Ethel Cochrane in North Kansas City, Missouri on April 24, 1915. She was a loving, caring, strong willed woman with a wonderful sense of humor. Mrs. Jarvis enjoyed contributing to local charity organizations for the elderly and children's causes, as well as many individuals. Her kind heart and warm smile will be long remembered by her family, many friends, and loyal customers. She was a co-owner of Little John's Wrecking Yard for 48 years and continued to act as an important role in her daily business up until her final days. Mrs. Jarvis was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill; husband, John; infant daughter, Ethel Glendale; daughters-in-law, Dianne and Margaret Jarvis; and grandson, Scot. Survivors: Reta Jarvis is greatly missed by her survivors, daughter, Patsy and husband, Jesse Freeman of Springtown; sons, Richard Jarvis of Reno, Butch Jarvis of Springtown; Joe and wife, Billie Jean of Watauga, Frank and wife, Billie Jean of Fort Worth, Bill and wife, Mary Sue of Gordonville; sister-in-law, Wilhelmina Bruton of Dallas, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.White's Funeral Home Springtown, (817) 220-7111
