James Mayo, 67, a barber, died Thursday, March 17, 2005 in Fort Worth.Funeral: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. James was born to Dominic and Rose Mayo on May 27, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a longtime resident of Parker County. James enjoyed being the park attendent at Rossier Park in Azle.Survivors: wife, JoAnn of Azle; sons, Frank Mayo of Azle and Jim Mayo and wife Lisa of Weatherford; daughters, Michelle Henderson of N.C., Rose Mary Lawson and husband, Max of Springtown, Terri Smith and husband Jerry of Saginaw; brothers, Dominic and Ron Mayo of FL.; sister, Jean Reisner of GA.; eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; numerous friends, other relatives and acquaintances.
