Norma Edwards Hooker

Norma Edwards Hooker, 88, of Weatherford, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at a local hospital.Norma was born April 9, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was raised in Muskogee, OK where she graduated from Muskogee High School. Norma married Gilbert L. Hooker on December 6, 1941. She was a homemaker while her husband served in the US Army Air Corps. She moved to Weatherford in 1960 where she was an active member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Gilbert L. Hooker of Weatherford; three sons, Gilbert N. Hooker and wife, Constance of Virginia Beach, VA, Gene Hooker and wife, Beverly of Weatherford, and Gary Hooker and wife, Rebecca of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
