Marjorie Jo Webb, 78, a retired executive secretary, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday at White's Azle Chapel. Marjorie Jo graced the world with her presence on Feb. 8, 1927, in Bowie. After graduation from Olney High School, Marjorie moved to Fort Worth. She met Marine Sgt. Bill Webb and they were married in January of 1946. The family moved to Azle in the spring of 1952 and attended Ash Creek Baptist Church, where Marjorie taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible school. Marjorie began working for the Federal Aviation Administration as branch secretary. She retired after 26 years of service, volunteering at the Azle Public Library. Dancing brown eyes and a smile that lit up a room are just a few of the many good qualities we will remember about Mama. Survivors: Sons, Gary Webb, Greg Webb and wife, Lee; daughter, Deana Hillier and husband, Phillip; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
