Glinda Smith ,55, a Community Living Instructor passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2005 from complications of diabetes at Harris Methodist Northwest Hospital.Funeral Services:1:00 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Wesley Chapel in Azle. Burial: Smith Fraiser Cemetery in Azle. Visitation: 4 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.Glinda was born March 16, 1950. She was a life long resident of Azle. She was a cherished employee of the Lakeview Group Home at the time of her death. Through the years she touched many lives and gave unselfishly of herself to help others in need. Although Glinda was a simple woman she had a heart of gold and the sun shined in her smile. She loved the Lord and the angels rejoiced upon her arrival. Glinda was a charter member of Wesley Chapel. Her life was centered on her job and caring for parents, brother, Henry and nephew Leslie Smith. Glinda will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered for her enduring grace and genuine goodness by all who knew and loved her. Thank you Ms. Glinda for a job well done. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith, preceded her in death. Survivors: Beloved brother, Henry Smith, Special nephew, Leslie Smith, life long best friend, Nada Shearer; numerous family members, friends and extended family.
