Frances Maurine Way

AZLE -- Maurine Way, 86, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 6, 2005 in Azle. Maurine Way was born Sept. 9, 1918 in Glen Rose to Zeb and Delia Shook Garner. She was a longtime resident of North Texas. Maurine was a devoted christian, an avid gardener, and loved to crochet. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon in 2001; son, LeeRoy Way in 2004; daughter, Barbara Retzack in 2003; brother, J.D. Garner; and sister, Eathel Chandler. Survivors: Brother, Royce Garner of San Antonio; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Belinda, Lillie, Danita, Sandra, and Guy Weldon; 11 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
