Robert H. Blood, 86, passed away Friday, June 3, 2005 in Weatherford. Funeral: 10 a.m., Tuesday at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: 2 p.m., Tuesday at Hillcrest Garden of Memory, Hillsboro. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Robert Blood was born Dec. 27, 1918 in Joliet, Illinois to Horace and Emma Tront Blood. He was manager of E. B. Mott Variety Store in Azle for 27 years. Mr. Blood served in the U.S. Coast Guard during W.W. II including battles at Midway, Guadalcanal, and Bouganville. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine in 1992; and his second wife, Opal in 2002. Survivors: Son, Robert L. Blood and wife, Katii of Vista, CA; grandsons, Christian and Stacey Blood of Vista, CA; daughter, Holly Pritchard and husband, Leroy of Springtown; grandsons, Reo Pritchard of Springtown and Duke Pritchard of River Oaks; granddaughter, Jo Kristi Peat of Nashville, TN; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
