Andrew Faborn Etier

Faborn Etier, 88, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005.Andrew Faborn Etier was born October 4, 1916 in Parker County, Texas to John S. and Jenny Bullington Etier. He was a graduate of Brock High School and held a Master's degree from Texas Christian Univeristy and DED from Columbia University in New York. Dr. Etier taught at Weatherford College, Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, and retired after twenty-nine years from the University of Texas in Austin.He was a member of many professional organizations.He was preceded in death by son, Philip Etier and daughter, Jena Blanch Etier.Dr. Etier is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, John Etier and wife, Gina of Weslaco, and Mark Etier of Austin; daughter, Betty Lynn Jeffrey and husband, Jim of Richardson; grandchildren, Johnathon Etier, Joshua Etier, Jordan Etier, Jared Jeffrey, Juliann Jeffrey, Jana Jeffrey, Jamie Jeffrey; sister, Jewel Polser; and brother, Layton Etier.Graveside Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2005 in the East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas.
