He loved to hunt the hills around Millsap with his dog "Po' Boy" until he joined the army at age 18 and served his country as Second Scout, Company "L" 120th Infantry in Germany during WWII. After the war, he went to work for Trans Pacific Railroad in 1946. Southwestern Bell Telephone Company worked alongside the railroad installing telephone lines. A foreman for Bell noticed O.B. and offered him a job in 1949 from which he would retire 32 years later, in 1981. They returned to Millsap in 1960 and bought a 93 acre farm where they raised a family of five. They recently celebrated their 52nd anniversary. After retiring, O.B. began to collect and restore old fly wheel engines. He pursued his hobby with a passion until his health began to decline in 2000. He then turned to dominoes and played every chance he had. He even played dominoes in his hospital bed. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Glen B. Williams; and son, Butch Williams.
