Ella Kauth

Ella Kohl Kauth, 79, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2005 at her home in Weatherford following a short but courageous battle with cancer.Ella was born in Furth/Bay, Germany July 18, 1926. After completing her formal education, she worked as a cosmetologist. On April 11, 1956 she married Dan H. Kauth who was serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. In 1958 she came to the United States and became a U.S. citizen in 1961. She traveled extensively in the United States as she followed her husband's military career and later in retirement in their motor home. Ella was a devoted and supportive wife. She was an excellent and loving mother to her son, Jeffrey.She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dan H. Kauth; beloved son, Jeffrey C. Kauth; brother-in-law, Jerry Kauth and wife, Linda; sisters-in-law, Judy Morrison and Kay Smithers; niece, Ulrike and husband, Ewald Oertel; as well as other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by dear friends, Dr. Orin and Myrl Dana; and her special German friends, Jenny, Anita, Ellie, Gerda, Hildegard, Lilly, Margitta, Maria, and Verena.Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation is scheduled 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home.
