Ludene Ivy

WEATHERFORD -- Ludene Ivy, 82, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2005 in Weatherford. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Church of God State Campground Tabernacle. Burial: East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m, Friday at White's Funeral Home. Ludene was born February 28, 1923 in Rains County to William and Minnie Mae (Terry) Mitchell. She was married to George Ivy on September 9, 1938. Ludene was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Survivors: Husband, Rev. George Ivy; daughters, Betty Pruitt and husband, Ken of Midland, Gay Lawhon and husband, Floyd of Santa Anna, Calif.; son, Larry Ivy and wife, Billie of Abilene; eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brothers, V. R. Mitchell of Weatherford, J. O. Mitchell of Odessa, Virgil Mitchell of Rochester, Billy Mitchell of Midland; and sisters, Nan Hammett of Weatherford, and Bobbie Harlan of Columbus.
