For our Nanny-we are blessed to have had you in our lives.Betty Maria Grafft, 75, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005 in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Hope Lutheran Church. Betty was born Dec. 30, 1929 in Sauk Rapids, Minn. She never met a stranger and was well known in the circles she traveled. She touched the lives of many with her outgoing, friendly, humorous and kind nature. She enjoyed games, gambling, long walks and spending time with her great grandchildren. Betty never hesitated to help when asked or when she saw fit.She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Johanna and Robert Richards, Sr.; husband, Robert James Grafft Sr.; son, Robert James Grafft Jr.; three brothers, Robert Richards Jr. James Richards and Gary Richards; and one sister, Flora Virginia Miner. Survivors: Daughter, Laurie Johnson and husband, Bill; son, Mike Grafft and wife, Jo; grandchildren, Jennifer Penalber, Robert Grafft, Jody Grafft and Aaron Grafft; great-grandchildren, Liam Norkett and Brandon Penalber; three sisters, Anita Gille, Barbara O'Donnell and Phyllis Latham; and six brothers, Sidney, Howard, William, Edward, Kenneth and Gene Richards; sisters-in-law, Evie Richards and Joyce Richards. Nanny- we have been blessed to have you in our lives. You will forever live in our hearts and memories. We will be watching for you on the Rainbow Bridge.
