Woodrow "Mutt" Wylie, 86, a retired driller, died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 in Azle. Graveside Service 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Aurora Cemetery, near Boyd. Visitation: 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home before the service. Woodrow was born October 18, 1919 to Chester and Gertrude Wylie in Boyd. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a core driller for the Army Corps of Engineers for ten years, prior to that he was employed with General Dynamics. Woodrow was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Virginia Wylie in 2003, three sisters and one brother. Survivors: son, Elton L. Wylie of Temple; nephew, Buddy Wylie of Houston.
