A.B. Wright, "PaPa" 83, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas surrounded by his family.PaPa was born March 13, 1922 in the Central Community to Albert F. and Dollie A. Brawley Wright. He was a graduate of Weatherford High School. PaPa's heart is with Northside Baptist Church in Weatherford where he married his life partner, Ruth on March 14, 1942. He retired in 1987. During his retirement PaPa kept busy with traveling, restoring his 1929 Ford model "A", and making sure he had the most beautiful yard on the block. He was a long time member of Thousand Trails where he traveled with his faithful companion, PeeWee. We will always save a chair for him every time we visit El Fenix.Above all, his first love was his Heavenly Father. PaPa left a lasting impression with everyone he met. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Baylor Hospital and especially Dr. James Shelton for the care and compassion he has shown throughout the years.A.B. is survived by his wife, Ruth Tyson Wright of Weatherford; daughters, Francis Brewer of Fort Worth, Shirley Wright McCrory and husband, Charles of Lipan, and Beverly Bench and husband, Max of Utah; grandchildren, Cheryl Forman of Fort Worth, Michelle Seifert and husband, Matt of Des Moines, Iowa, William Brewer and wife, Sandy of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jennifer Francis and husband, Sean of Brock, Kathy Wright of Mesquite, Misty Carruth and husband, Brian of Weatherford, Daniel Bench of Utah, and Christopher McCrory of Keller; great grandchildren, Amy Nelson of Tennessee, Meghan Seifert of Des Moines, Iowa, Tyler Hafley, Dalton Hafley, Summer Hafley of Mesquite, and Gustava Bench of Utah; and a future great grandchild to be named at a later date. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends. PaPa set a great example for his family and everyone he met with his faith and spirit. He will always be a part of us.Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2005 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford with Brother Bill Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Poolville Cemetery, Poolville. The family will receive guests 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
