Bob Statham, 53, entered eternity in the arms of his Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 after a short illness.Bob was born September 17, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas to Bill and Mary Statham, and was born again as a young adult. By occupation, Bob was a C.P.A. but the joy of his life was his family and friends. His preferred "job" was being Grandpa to Jerod and Evan, Buddy to the boys, and Best Friend to Zan. Bob and his wife, Zan have actively supported the community and causes of the Republican Party. He was preceded in death by his mother.Survivors include wife, Zan Statham; son, Steven Statham; step-sons, Jerod Hagains, Chris Hagains and wife, Carri; grandsons, Jerod Hagains Jr., Evan Hagains; father, Bill Statham and wife, Johnna; sister, Trisha Schmidt and husband, Tim; brothers, Larry Statham and Mark Statham; mother-in-law, Mary Sharp; father-in-law, Joe Sharp and wife, Linda; brother-in-law, Steve Sharp, Scott Sharp and wife, Amanda, Justin Sharp and wife, Lindsay; sister-in-law, Keleigh Greenwood and husband, Phil;many friends, nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in the Lord.A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Aledo. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Center of Hope, 629 Palo Pinto Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
