Bernice Barringer, 71, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2006 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Bernice Barringer was born May 3, 1934 the daughter of George and Maudie Roberts in Parker County. She worked for Southwestern Bell Phone Co. and was a beautician for many years. Bernice was the owner of Bernice's Beauty Bar in Springtown. She was preceded in death by husband, Troy Potter; and step-grandson Jerry Beason II. Survivors: Husband, Douglas Barringer; daughters, Brenda Beason and husband, Jerry of Stephenville, Lenda Morrison-Sugg and husband, Ernie of Grand Prarie, Dottie Simmons and husband, Jerry of Springtown; step children, Douglas A Barringer of Ft. Worth, Vicki Barringer of AZ; grandchildren, Jeremy Simmons, Chris Beason, Kelli Morrison Simmons; step grandchildren, Donna Groshup, Greg Sugg, Carla Vick; great-grandchildren, Alexander Simmons, Klayetan Simmons, Bree Simmons; and step great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Cheyenne Vick, David Groshup, Dana Townsend, Dayton Groshup; step-great-great-grandchild, Zander Townsend.
