Joe Roger Tucker

AZLE -- Joe R. Tucker, 70, a retired United Airlines Captain, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2006 in Weatherford. Funeral: 3:00 p.m., Thursday, at Aledo Church of Christ. Burial: Veal Station Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Joe was born August 29, 1935 the son of Guy and Julia Sharpe Tucker in Parker County. He was a long time resident of Parker County. Mr. Tucker had an avid interest in mission work in Mexico, flying, singing, photography and raising cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife, Norma Tucker of Azle; daughters, Melinda Furlan and husband, Mauro of Italy, Mishay Adams of Parker County; sons, Richard Tucker and wife, Lisa of Florida, Matt Adams and wife Misti of Garner; sister, Ann Moody of Irving; and grandchildren, Gerri, Katie, Reid, Cade and his namesake, Joe.White's Funeral Home Azle, (817) 444-3211
